Summers...are typical of the high desert. Although daytime temperatures often reach into the 100s, gentle breezes and low humidity make the temperature seem lower. Due to the elevation, nights cool down to the 70s and 80s.

 Spring & Fall...temperatures range from the 60s in March to the 90s in May. Temperatures in September usually range in the 90s and drop off to the 60s by November.
Winter...nights are usually cold with temperatures occasionally dropping below freezing for short periods. Days warm up to the 50s. Skies are clear and the sunshine is warm.

 Pahrump is in the nation's driest region, enjoying the lowest relative humidity in the country, and with 216 sunny days per year, is second only to Yuma, Arizona.  Pahrump is located in the southeast corner of Nye County. It is 60 miles west of Las Vegas and 60 miles east of Death Valley. Pahrump is about 26 miles long and 8 to 12 miles wide, an area of approximately 277 square miles. Surrounding the Valley are the Spring Mountain range to the east and the Nopah Mountains to the west
